Grand Shades was founded with a clear vision - to provide premium, bespoke window furnishing solutions without compromise. We saw a gap in the market between fast, transactional suppliers and truly tailored service. Our approach is different. Meet the Founders - Andy & David
Based in Melbourne, Andy and David bring a hands-on, detail-oriented approach to every project. From the initial consultation through to final installation, we remain closely involved. Our clients work directly with us - not a rotating sales team. We understand that window furnishings are often one of the final elements in a build or renovation. That final detail matters. It needs to align with the architecture, the finishes and the way the space will be used every day. Precision is not optional in our industry. A few millimetres can change everything. That is why we invest time in thorough check and measure processes and clear communication from start to finish. And when we’re not onsite or reviewing specifications, you’ll likely find Athens - our Samoyed and unofficial morale officer - keeping an eye on things.
